Purpose of the job

The Sport and Physical Activity department aims to provide the UCL community with a wide range of opportunities to take part in sport and physical activity. As part of UCL’s Bicentenary celebrations, Students’ Union UCL is launching UCL200 Active, a bold, high-profile campaign celebrating 200 years of UCL by bringing 200-themed physical activity challenges to life across the community. With a target of engaging 2,000 unique participants, this flagship initiative is designed to generate real momentum, visibility and impact, and you will play a key role in achieving this ambitious goal.

Students’ Union UCL is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Project Assistant to support the coordination and delivery of the UCL200 Active programme. The role offers the opportunity to be at the heart of an exciting, university-wide campaign, shaping, coordinating and promoting five dynamic headline challenges. Each challenge will be designed to captivate different audiences across UCL from Sports Club members and gym users to staff and the wider student body. This is a chance to play a key role in a landmark moment in UCL’s history, driving participation, sparking community spirit and helping to embed physical activity as a vibrant and lasting part of UCL’s 200-year legacy.
