Hi, I’m Andy, and I’m running for ENT Chair for 2026/27 – to inspire and collaborate with the next generation of students interested in ENT!

As Events Lead of UCL ENT Society and Lead for the 2026 International Undergraduate ENT Surgical Conference, I have expanded our reach and led UCL’s first in-person ENT conference.

Beyond ENT, my roles with STARSurg (Steering Committee), BrainBook (Research Officer), Clinical Skills (Education Lead), and NANSIG (Regional Lead) provide the national network and logistical expertise to scale our society to its full potential.

My three key priorities:

  1. Surgical innovation - ENT is a high-tech specialty, and our workshops should reflect that. I will move beyond standard VR/suturing and create innovative, bespoke simulation models with my CAD and programming skills along with keen committee members

  1. Strengthening collaboration - I will position UCL as the hub of a national ENT network
  • National: Extend partnerships with SFO UK and ENT societies across the country to expand the annual conference into a truly nationwide event.
  • Inter-disciplinary: Bridge with Neuro, Plastic Surgery, and OMFS subcommittees to elevate tutorials for head & neck teaching and workshops on skull base and free flap reconstruction surgeries.

  1. Mentorship/research scheme - structured mentorship scheme link linking students with ENT trainees and clinicians for shadowing, career advice, and research opportunities, leveraging alumni connections.

Thank you for your
