I believe I would be a good welfare officer because I care about making sure people feel comfortable and included. I would make an effort to encourage interaction and create a positive and supportive atmosphere, where both new and existing members can enjoy events and feel welcome.

Olivia Kenyon

Hello my lovely space society members!

Having served this year as your president and last year as your secretary, space society has become one of my favourite things about UCL. I am going into fourth year and will be very very busy, but I still want to stick around (I'm not ready to leave yet)!

I would absolutely love to be your welfare officer. I know most of you quite well, have spent a lot of time getting to know you all at each event and feel as though I would do well in this role. I also have quite a lot of experience in various mentoring roles. This role would also allow me to act in an assistive capacity with general committee duties and event planning, given my now EXTENSIVE knowledge of the society and how it works, I feel like I would be a good addition to the committee!

If you agree, I would really appreciate it if you could help me out and vote for me as welfare officer so I can stick around a little while longer.

Yours truly,

Olivia aka Madam President aka POTUSS
