I’m standing for Outreach Officer because I want to get more involved and actually contribute to the society in a proper way. I’ve done langar on campus and attended the UCL Kirtan Darbar, and being part of those made me realise I want to take on more of a role rather than just attending.

For me, this role is about being proactive and present. I want to actively make a difference by helping bring the Sikh community closer and making sure we’re connected with the wider campus too. Outreach is about strengthening relationships, whether that’s within our own community or with other societies and making sure no one feels left out.

Through Sikh Society, we already have a strong base. I’d like to help build on that by being reliable, present, and willing to put effort in where it’s needed.

I’m standing because I care about Sikhi, I care about our community, and I want to step up and take responsibility in a way that actually contributes.
