Communications Manager is vital in connecting SSEES with the students and a role that I would be dedicated to.

  • Chairman of the Student Council at school - I would be an active voice and ear, conveying your ideas to the committee and department.
  • Editor of award-winning school history magazine- written communication skills useful to this role.
  • No fears of public speaking at events- LAMDA from a very young age (if there is ever a need for some light entertainment, I’m your man!).
  • I am approachable and easily recognisable (just look for very blonde hair!)- I would be excited to listen to any fabulous news, work or events useful to our society members.

To give back to the fellow members of SSEES, welcome the new members in September and replicate the wonderful experience I’ve had in the society, is something I would be grateful to have the opportunity to do. Thank you!

Sebastian Flynn

I’m nominating myself for Communications Manager because I’m passionate about keeping our European Studies community informed, connected, and engaged. I want to make sure students know about opportunities, events, and achievements within the department, while helping strengthen communication between students and staff.
