Anjika Nayak

Hello :)

I have been an active member of the PhysSoc committee this year, which has given me a strong understanding of how the society operates and the work that happens behind the scenes. I have helped organise and run many of the events and socials that PhysSoc has run this year, from boardgames night to QUIRK+ , and I would love the opportunity to continue building on this experience by creating engaging, well-run events for everyone in physics and beyond.

Having already worked within the committee, I can ensure continuity while also bringing fresh ideas forward. I am organised, proactive, and comfortable taking responsibility when coordinating teams and managing events. My goal is to help build a society that feels welcoming, connected across year groups, and accessible to students who may not usually get involved, while still keeping the socials fun and something people genuinely look forward to.

PhysSoc and the community it creates mean a lot to me, and I’d love the chance to serve as President and represent its members. I would take the role seriously while making sure the society stays social, welcoming, and genuinely fun.

also i promise to make the membership fees cheaper!!
