Hi everyone! As First Year Representative for the society this year, I've really enjoyed learning about the society, how it works beyond the surface level and taking part in initiatives that serve the entire NatSci Society. This role has given me the privilege to step out of my comfort zone with executing tasks and communicating ideas for a community that I cherish, and I wish to continue doing so by running as your Vice President next year. 

I believe the insights I've gained this year - being an ordinary member and then a FYR for the society, have sufficiently prepared me to take part in leadership and push for initiatives that would benefit our community as a whole, and here are some of them: 

  1. More Sports Events 
  2. Field trips / Outdoor Activities (excursions to cool places, picnics etc)
  3. More Careers / Academic Events (Panels, Workshops and Networking Events)
  4. New Additions / Events for the Common Room (More Games, Books, Supplies, really just anything)
