Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering Society: Outreach Manager

Hi everyone! I am a second-year Biomedical Engineering student and have been a member of the MPBE society for about a year. I'm running for the role of Outreach Manager for the upcoming academic year.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time as a member of the society and have had the opportunity to attend and take part in some great events, such as the joint boat party with Imperial and the trip to Germany to visit Fresenius, a multinational healthcare company. Experiences like these really show how valuable strong connections with other universities and organisations can be.

If I'm elected, as your outreach manager, I'd like to help build on these established connections to create even more opportunities for members. This could include hosting collaborative events with other universities and societies, or strengthening links with other companies in the biomedical engineering industry. I'd also like to expand the society's current outreach and get more students involved so that they can benefit from the events and connections you can gain from being a member of MPBE soc.
