ZON I AM WATCHING YOU 👁️👄👁️ VOTE BRICE BRIAN 4 PRESIDENT

Zon Li

Hi everyone!

I’m Zon, a second-year Statistics student, and I’m standing to be Lamorna’s next President!

Over the past year I’ve really enjoyed being involved with the society as the creative director, whether that’s helping behind the scenes preparing for workshops, brainstorming ideas, or just showing up to make candles. Seeing how much work goes into organising each workshop has made me realise how important it is to have someone keeping everything running smoothly — from timelines and prep to making sure all the SU forms and bookings are sorted so our workshops can actually happen.

I’m standing because I want to help the society continue to grow while making things easier for the committee and more exciting for members. As President, I’d focus on keeping everything organised and on track: coordinating timelines for workshops and collaborations, making sure room bookings and SU forms are done early, and running pre-workshop meetings so everyone knows what’s going on. I’m a statistics student so planning, structure, and spreadsheets are unfortunately part of my personality at this point.

I also want to support the rest of the committee so they can do their best work. That means helping the creative team bring their ideas to life, working closely with the treasurer on funding and grants, and making sure we keep exploring collaborations and new workshop ideas while still keeping our regular candle-making sessions running smoothly.

Thank you for your consideration!
