Handball Club: President

Hi guys!

I’m Bella and I joined handball at the beginning of the year. Prior to this, I had never played handball before, but with the help of this society, handball has quickly become one of my favourite activities and the trainings are something I look forward to every week.

As a complete beginner, joining a university sports society can feel incredibly intimidating. However, I found the handball society to be one of the most welcoming societies at UCL. Because of this, I would love to give back to the society and join the committee as president.

As president, I would also like to increase the club’s visibility at the university, through collaborations with other sports societies, participating in events like This Girl Can, and organising regular friendlies with other universities.

I have big footsteps to fill, but I am committed to working closely with the other committee members to ensure that the society continues to run smoothly. I’ll also be incredibly annoying to the SU, don’t worry :)

Alongside the new committee, I’d like to continue to keep the handball society a welcoming, friendly, and fun environment.
