After two incredible years at the club and some unreal memories, I’ve seen how much UCFC means to everyone. I’m ready to step up and give something back as Treasurer.

Here’s what I’m aiming to deliver:

  • Continue securing good quality pitches for all teams
  • Work towards introducing a Veo system
  • Coaches for the top teams (if they wish)
  • Better training equipment
  • Continuation of Under Armour performance testing
  • Physio partnerships
  • Implement a more streamlined reimbursement system
  • Provide more transparent budget allocations across teams
  • Actively pursue new sponsorship and partnership opportunities

I hope this gives you an idea of the future of the UCFC I want to foster.

And as always, F*ck K***s and Up the UC! 💜

Abir Ghosh Biswas

I’m standing for Football Treasurer because I want the club to be run professionally and in a way that genuinely improves the experience for every member. I am organised, reliable, and comfortable being accountable for money, and I would bring clarity and consistency to how we budget and spend.

I am actively part of the team, so I understand the real costs and priorities from the inside, such as pitches, training, matchday needs, kit, and socials. I have also built experience in committee based responsibility through my role as a First Year Representative in the UCL Economist Society, where I have seen how good financial planning and clear communication directly shape what a group can deliver.

As Treasurer, I would keep finances transparent and well planned, make sure spending is justified, and ensure payments and reimbursements are handled quickly and correctly. I would also communicate clearly with members so everyone understands what they are paying for and what the club is delivering.

Ultimately, I am standing because I care about the team and I want the club to feel well run, fair, and worth it.
