I have been a part of the cycling club for quite some time now. It is a club I am so proud to be a part of and I want to help make sure others have the same experience I had in this wonderful community.

A lot of us use cycling as a bit of a get away from all the stresses of life. Exercise with friends outdoors is a great way to do that and the people I have come to know through cycling have certainly helped me over the years. I am really glad that UCL Cycling is a community which supports and fosters this and I want to ensure this goes on for next year. Having been treasurer this year, I understand the responsibility that comes with a core committee role and I have a good idea of what members particularly enjoy (free coffee on club rides). I would ensure this (and other events) continue as welfare officer.

Having been in the club for a while and getting to know lots of the members, I hope to be an open ear for anyone to chat to, whether on the bike or not. As I go into my 6th and final year, I feel well placed to support the younger members of the club and hope to support and help the club for one last year.
