Hello everyone, my name is Cici Yang, and I currently serve as an Executive Member of the Secretariat. I am running for the position of CSSA General Secretary for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Over the past year, I have been involved in proposal reviews, process coordination, and cross-department collaboration. This experience has shown me that the Secretariat is not only responsible for administrative procedures, but also plays a vital role in connecting departments, coordinating resources, and ensuring that events and initiatives are carried out effectively.
If elected, I aim to further strengthen the Secretariat as a reliable backbone for the organization. My goal is to make processes clearer, collaboration smoother, and resources more effectively coordinated across departments.
My priorities include improving workflow management through early proposal submissions and timely feedback, establishing regular communication with department leaders, and creating clearer channels for cross-department collaboration. I will also work to improve organizational continuity by maintaining shared documentation and updated operational guidelines, while strengthening coordination with the Student Union to secure venues and institutional support.
My goal is for the Secretariat to provide consistent, professional support for every department and help CSSA operate more efficiently and sustainably.
