Art Society: Treasurer

Hi everyone :) I'm Rachel, and I'd love to be your treasurer! As a regular at life drawing sessions, this society has given me the chance to fall back in love with making art purely for the sake of it. It’s been such a grounding part of my uni life, and I’d really love to get involved and give back to the society through this role. Having been Art Soc President and Vice Head Girl back in high school (and now a soon-to-be second year in BSc Politics & IR), I'm experienced, detail-oriented, and poised to take on financial and administrative responsibilities for our society.

I strongly believe a well-managed budget is what allows a society’s events and opportunities to exist at all, and I hope to make the most of our funds by efficiently and reliably finding the best suppliers and resources. I triple pinky promise to give my all to keep our Art Soc affordable, accessible, and well-resourced, so everyone can keep showing up, experimenting, and making art to their heart’s content! :) Thank you so much for your time, and I’d be honoured to help support and look after Art Soc and all the creativity it brings next year.
