Tahir Mubasher
Mubaraq Olaniyi

Over the years, I have demonstrated not only academic distinction but professional dexterity, consistently delivering results that speak credibly. I am standing for Treasurer because I want to serve the Ahmadiyya Muslim Students Society with sincerity, integrity, and a sense of responsibility rooted in Islamic values. Managing finances with honesty, transparency, and accountability is an amanah, and I believe my skills and experience allow me to fulfil that trust effectively.

In my previous roles, I improved data accuracy by 95%, resolved $130,000 in discrepancies, and strengthened financial processes to ensure clarity and reliability. These experiences taught me the importance of precision and trustworthiness, qualities that align closely with the Islamic principles of justice, fairness, and safeguarding communal resources.

I have also held leadership roles, including serving as the General Coordinator of Excel Minds, where I learned how to organise teams, communicate clearly, and remain accountable for outcomes. This strengthened my ability to support a community, manage responsibilities, and work collaboratively for a shared purpose.

I am motivated to bring this blend of financial discipline, leadership experience, and Islamic values to the Treasurer role. My intention is to help the society run smoothly, support its spiritual and social initiatives, and ensure that every decision reflects the principles of service, humility, and unity that define our community.
