Actuarial Society: Second Year Representative

Hi everyone! I’m a Maths student running to be your Second Year Representative for the Actuarial Science Society. I’ve gotten particularily interested in the field recently, and I’d like us to share as much knowledge about the field to set ourselves up for this industry and retire by 28 (realistically).

I believe I’m well-equipped for the role because I’m approachable and easy to talk to, I’m multilingual in English, French, and Arabic, so you can talk to me about anything, in any language . If you ever have any issues, concerns, or just ideas for the society, please feel free to come to me anytime. I also have a lot of experience in Python coding and have completed several projects, we could plan group projects in Pyhton to improve our coding skills.

My main goal is to use my communication skills to bring more people into the society and get them genuinely interested in the actuarial path. I’m dedicated to representing your voices and helping our community grow, and I’d really appreciate your support and your vote!

I'll be completely honest, no one reads this anyway. I study maths and run a few businesses, not much more to it.
I hate car insurance, gotta play the odds and figure out what reduces your risk profile. Sooo lets get cheap car insurance together :)
