Mexican Society: Treasurer

I am running for Treasurer of the Mexican Society because I am  passionate about supporting its success and ensuring that our events thrive. I feel a strong desire to contribute to the growth of our Mexican community here at UCL. I bring relevant experience, having volunteered as a cashier and studied financial maths and economics in high school, which will help me manage the society’s finances effectively and transparently. My primary goal as Treasurer is to work closely with the committee to ensure we have sufficient funds to organise and support our events throughout the year. I will make sure all members have purchased their memberships and explore various fundraising opportunities to raise additional funds for the society. 

This year, our MexSoc committe has built an amazing and close-knit community of Latinos at UCL. 

As treasurer and part of the committee, I plan to keep our mission going and aid in making even more events happen throughout the year to make it our best yet.
