Louise Amy Fielder

With such an exciting range of opportunities and events that the Labour Society offers, I want to ensure that members receive clear, concise information so that they never miss out. To make communication clear, I aim to utilise the UCL Labour social media accounts to provide monthly calendar posts of what upcoming events there are, so students can clearly see which events conflict with their university timetables to prevent overbooking. Further, I’d like to utilities event-reminders, to reduce spam for members unable to attend certain events and to reduce the stress of navigating a busy university timetable. I aim to communicate with the different year representatives to, where possible, prevent event clashes with university timetables from courses that most frequently join the society. Lastly, I aim to continue the excellent work the Labour society has already done in setting up great connections with other universities Labour societies as this opens up even more opportunities to our members. In notifying our members with enough advance about joint events, I will ensure that our members are able to get tickets before they run out.

Overall, I aim to help support this fantastic society and ensure that our members never miss out on key events.
