Karting Club: Treasurer

Hi! I'm Edan, UCL Karting Club's 2024-25 Events Executive, and this election cycle I will be running for Treasurer of the society! With my experience within the Club, I think I would be the best choice for the role! Here's Why:

Experience:

Within my tenure as Events Executive, and working with our current committee, I have already made a big impact. By finding the best deals and discounts at 10 different venues around London, my work has already saved society members £1500+ over the year (that's an average discount of 15% per event per person!). Having also built strong working relationships with some venues including Rye House, who have agreed to host the first ever Varsity Karting Grand Prix, I hope to continue saving YOU money in this expensive sport in the coming year. My recommendations have also brought UCL Karting to 2 new venues this year which proved popular among members, as part of 18 events I've helped organise so far this year!

Why you should Vote Edan:

I wish to make this club and sport as accessible as possible. Because of this, I have worked on and analysed polls of our members' feedback and, passing on my findings to the committee, already begun implementing changes such as double capacity events & lower prices. By running as treasurer, I am committed to making the society more financially viable for everyone, while working closely with the future president to continue providing more savings, more events, at more tracks for more members!
