Jewellery Making Society: President

I love jewellery making, as a hobby, an art and a form of expression, allowing you to stay present and mindful during the process. I am very excited about creating the first ever Jewellery Making society at UCL! With experience in various techniques and a keen eye for creativity, I aim to make the society engaging, inclusive, and inspiring for everyone. My leadership skills, combined with my ability to organise events and foster collaboration alongside committee members, make me a strong candidate for president. I plan to introduce hands-on workshops for all skill levels, create opportunities for members to showcase their work through fundraising initiatives. Other activities will involve jewellery-related gallery visits, talks by professional jewellery makers and film/ documentary screenings alongside the workshops. I am also committed to addressing any challenges the society faces, ensuring smooth organisation and communication. With a clear vision, dedication, and enthusiasm, I am ready to take on this role and make our society an exciting, creative, and supportive space for everyone. Looking forward to meeting you all!
