Ultimate Frisbee Club: Treasurer

Hi! Kai here and I am running for treasurer because I believe that I can aid in the development and growth of our amazing club.



As a broke uni student who is guilty of going to every frisbee tournament available (unless I'm injured which is a lot of the time as well), I have spent way too much on tournament fees and travel. Despite the low balances, nothing beats the good vibes and high spirit I always have with the people. That's the kind of energy I would like everyone in Silverbacks to have.



Undertaking a minor in management accounting, countless figures of excel spreadsheets are no stranger to me. Besides, as the treasurer of my previous club in college, I will ensure that every member gets the most out of this club without driving the club into bankruptcy; be it by taking advantage of Ryan or Arwen's young age for free pitch hirings or reusing maccies coupons from last year (Legend has it that the coupons are still redeemable).



When elected, I aim to bring kit orders earlier in the year so we can rock in it together going to matches and tournaments.



As a committed member for over a year now and still very involved in the frisbee scene, rest assured I will apply my knowledge and experience to continue the glory of Silverbacks!!!!!!!!!! xoxo

Hi, if we haven't met already, I'm Justin, an undergraduate student studying Law, and I'm running for Ultimate Frisbee Club Treasurer for 2022/2023! I only started playing Ultimate this year, but ever since my first session I have loved every minute of it, I think the sport has so much to offer and the frisbee community at UCL is the most positive and supportive communities I have ever experienced.

I would like to run for treasurer because I would like to contribute to the club and give back to the community that has given me so much - from life-long friends to skills in this amazing sport. I would like to help the UCL Silverbacks thrive, and preserve as well as improve the running of the club through its finances.

I think I would make a good treasurer because I am a meticulous person by nature (which is why I'm currently doing a Law degree after all), and I am mathematically adept, having studied Further Maths in Sixth Form. This will be extremely handy for the role of treasurer when managing the club's finances through managing expenses from booking tournaments and training sessions and keeping the club's budget healthy and mistake-free. I also have very good organisational skills and am very efficient in managing deadlines, which will help when setting up next year's kit order (which I promise will be both cheap and look extremely cool XD).
