Every wondered what makes UCL so special? Short answer - it's YOU. Whether you're excelling in sports, shining on stage, organising conferences or making a difference through volunteering, your accomplishments are what truly set UCL apart – and they deserve to be celebrated.

The End of Year Awards are a chance to recognise and celebrate everything that you have contributed to making the UCL community such a special place. This year we’re hosting four exciting events: Community Awards, Sports Awards, Societies Awards and Arts Awards on Thursday 28 and Friday 29 May in the Bloomsbury Theatre. It's a chance to come together to celebrate all the hard work, dedication and impact of all the student activities and individuals who have shaped student life for the better.

If you're wondering what you can submit a nomination for, the answer is absolutely anything. You can recognise clubs, societies, student-led projects, productions, and individuals. There are awards that cover all elements of our diverse student activity! From recognising the contributions of student groups committed to inclusivity to shining a spotlight on individuals who have gone the extra mile to improve your experience, you can nominate any individual or group who has made a difference to your time at UCL. If you need some inspo, here are some quotes from last year's nominations:

He is a champion of every member, a champion for club projects, and a champion for doing the small jobs that make a club work.

Over 1000 hours of rehearsals went into perfecting the performances, providing an opportunity for students across different years and degrees to come together.

The society placed a strong emphasis on making all opportunities accessible, regardless of experience. From beginner-friendly workshops to advanced competitions and tailored mentorship, every member was given space to grow.

You have until 12:00 on Wednesday 8 April to submit your nominations - more info on voting to come! The shortlist will be released on Wednesday 24 April. Look out for more updates on our Award receptions and after parties (to be announced soon!).
