Save money on your Welcome Week nights out
Buying the wristband saves you £70+ compared to the cost of purchasing individual club night tickets during Welcome Week. Plus there’s no need to worry about missing out or stress about getting tickets as you know the plans are already in place. Just create a guest account on our website and use that to buy the wristband, or tickets to events before you have your official UCL login.
Experience six huge London clubs
Our Welcome Week club night events are designed to help you experience the best of London’s clubbing scene - the best venues, great production and brilliant DJs.
We’re kicking off the week in style at the iconic Ministry of Sound, where you’ll be welcomed with an unforgettable night of top DJs, stunning visuals, CO₂ cannons, lasers, and the UK’s loudest sound system. Next, we head to Scala in King’s Cross for a massive Beach Party, followed by a full-on takeover of Egg for a UV Glow Rave, complete with glowsticks, UV cannons, and an 8ft light-up Glow Robot lighting up the dancefloor.
Still going strong? We’re back at Ministry of Sound for round two, before the penultimate night of Welcome Week brings you something truly unique: a Freshers’ Day Party at LDN East. And to wrap up this epic week, we’re closing things out in one of London’s most legendary venues, Fabric, for the ultimate Freshers’ Rave. Get ready, Welcome Week 2025 is going to be unforgettable.
Get the party started in Phineas
We’ll be hosting pre-drinks in Phineas – our biggest Students’ Union bar - most nights of the week, so head to 25 Gordon Street, meet your fellow freshers and get the night off to an epic start. At Phineas you can always expect excellent drink deals and prices, so you can enjoy your night out without breaking the bank.
Don’t fall for fake wristbands
Official UCL Nightlife 2025 wristbands and event tickets are only available to purchase from the Students’ Union UCL website and Students’ Union UCL Fatsoma. Any wristbands or tickets on sale elsewhere are not official and will not give you access to any official UCL Welcome 2025 events.
You’ll be able to pick up your wristband in person from the Hanger, our Students’ Union merchandise shop at 25 Gordon Street in September. We’ll have a a 10% in-store discount for all wristband holders, so you'll be able to pick up some UCL merch at the same time. See you then!
