Academic Reps do one of the most important jobs in the Union - they make sure you have a voice in your education.

Each month, we’re featuring your reps and the work they’re doing to make UCL better. If you have an idea about how to improve your course, your department or UCL you can contact your own Academic Rep using our Find Your Rep page.

March's Academic Rep of the Month: Hyuna Cho

Hyuna is an academic representative for fourth-year pharmacy students. She has been actively trying to ensure that future students receive a higher quality of education by collating feedback on dissertation projects and thesis presentations from students. Hyuna also makes sure to communicate feedback to the School of Pharmacy Students' Union so that they can make better and informed decisions. We are highly impressed by the care and consideration Hyuna has for the future cohorts. Additionally, Hyuna has been making students feel as if they are part of a community outside the classroom setting via her social media account and Year 4 group chat. We truly appreciate the dedication and change Hyuna has been making!

Here's a bit more about Hyuna:

Hi there! I am Hyuna Cho, a final-year pharmacy student.

For the past three years, I had the honour of serving as the academic representative. This role provided me with valuable experience in communication, leadership, and collaboration while working with both students and faculty.

I am excited to apply these skills as a trainee pharmacist starting this July! I'm part of the UCL Swimming Club and I just love swimming. As a foodie, cooking and baking are my jam as well!
