The website allows you to set up a conference booking interface. This is useful if you have multiple events at the same time, and require your attendees to only book one at each time, with no conflicts. It will automatically prevent them from booking events at the same time. Users can cancel and reschedule between sessions (where there is availability) at any time, and view their schedule from the page.
This functionality requires an overall 'conference' product, which the user must buy (or book if free), to book in to the individual events. As such there can be no price for individual events, just the overall conference.
Note: by setting up the interface, the website will automatically restrict booking the events to people who have purchased/booked the conference product.
- Create your events and give them all the same tag, e.g. 'Widget Conference 2025'. They should be free but you should add stock to limit capacity.
- Create a 'default' product for people to buy/book in to to give them access to the conference.
- Create a new Landing page or edit an existing landing page.
- Add a block by searching "Conference booking table".
- Click the cog in the toolbar that appears by the block, for 'Edit block settings'.
- For the tag field, find the tag the events were given.
- For the product field, find the default product you created for them to book.
- Save.
- To test, you need to purchase/book the product you created. Then visit that page and you can book etc.
