What is Leaders in Dialogue?
Leaders in Dialogue is our sector-leading programme equipping students with the skills and experience required to lead in an increasingly polarised world. It provides students with bespoke training, an experiential learning trip to Northern Ireland, and opportunities to put their skills into practice, all in aid of creating the next generation of leaders able to navigate and celebrate difference.
A Leader in Dialogue could support your event by:
- Facilitating a discussion between panellists and promoting an inclusive debate.
- Taking responsibility for timings and managing the event in an agreed format.
- Leading/chairing a Q&A.
- Taking appropriate action, with the support of Union or UCL staff, in the event of disruption.
- Challenging inappropriate or discriminatory language.
If you are a society and have been instructed to hire a Leader in Dialogue for your external speaker event, please contact [email protected].

We would appreciate any feedback and photos from your events capturing our Leaders in Dialogue putting their skills into practice.
