Students’ Union UCL: Our future, your future
Our vision
We’re thinking about our future here at UCL and working out where to focus our resources for the next three years – this will form part of our new strategy, which is all about deciding what we do, how to do it and when to do it.
We’ve already got big dreams and aspirations - we want to be the best parts of the UCL student experience, as well as being one of the best (if not the best) students’ unions in the UK and the world.
Our mission
It’s our mission to build a vibrant and empowered student community with real influence in UCL and beyond, so you can enjoy your time at university; pursue your interests and passions; see the world in new ways; and develop the skills and experience to change the world for the better.
How do we think we can do this?
Effective influence - The Union is the representative body for all UCL students, we have one of the largest collective student voices in the UK. We want to focus on making our influence effective and impactful; achieving positive change for our members.
An amazing experience - More choice, more opportunities and more activities; where more happens. We want our members to have access to the best student experiences through the wide range of Union services we offer.
Our vibrant and inclusive community - UCL is a community from all over the world in an amazing city doing amazing things. We want the Union to support, defend and energise this community making it bigger, better and stronger
Excellent Union - We want to build a fantastic, well run and effective charity that is one of the best student organisations anywhere in the world.
But are we right? / How can you help?
While we think the above is important, we’d like your feedback on our strategic framework before we set our plans in action – so this is your moment to shape the next three years of Students’ Union UCL.
If you have ideas about how we can improve student life here at UCL, why not join us at one of our online focus groups and share your views?
