We’re pitching these events as an opportunity for our main contacts to find out more about what we do, how we can work effectively together and provide an informal forum for networking over coffee and croissants.

The events will all take place 09:00-10:30 and room details on campus will be emailed out to people who have places nearer the time.

The six events we’ve lined up for each month throughout 2018-19 are:

NOVEMBER

Promoting roles at UCL – how do I make the most out of advertising my roles?

18 DECEMBER - FULLY BOOKED

UCL’s Top Ten Targets for Public Engagement – how do I influence this?

We want to hear your views on the role you would like UCL to play over the next decade.

How would you like to see UCL public engagement develop in the next ten years? How can the university best listen to and respond to the needs and priorities of the communities you represent? What stepping stones can help us achieve our ambitions together?

2018 marks the tenth anniversary of the UCL Public Engagement Unit. As part of this important year, we’ve been asking friends, colleagues and community partners to share their thoughts about our work and how we can embed a culture in which staff, students, departments can engage with communities – whether through their research, their teaching or broader access to UCL opportunities, resources and facilities.

Please join us on Tuesday 18th December where we hope to share with you some of the top priorities for change which are beginning to emerge and have a broader discussion about what you see as the role the university could and should play to support your work longer term.
