I'm currently in search of someone to takeover my lease in a postgrad flat for the summer (mid June 2026-September 12 2026). You do NOT have to be a postgraduate student for summer short term renting.
The St. Pancras location is perfect for reaching several central London unis on foot or via tube. It’s right by cool spots like Camden high street, Coal Drops Yard (my favorite), Kings Cross/St. Pancras stations, Granary Square, and Regent’s Canal, with close access to Bloomsbury and Soho.
There are 9 other flatmates (3 guys, 6 girls), but the flat is split between 2 floors so it really feels much cozier. Everyone’s super respectful, friendly, and clean. The shared kitchen and lounge areas are modern and spacious. We have two refrigerators, two freezers, a 4 burner stovetop, an oven, a microwave, a 10-12 person dining table, 3 couches, and gorgeous windows.
The room includes a private ensuite bathroom, is fully furnished with lots of storage, a comfy single bed, and great desk space.
I use the building’s common areas (huge 7th floor lounge/terrace, ground floor study room and library) for work and having friends over all the time. The wifi is great everywhere, and the maintenance team is so efficient and effective. There’s also a Co-op about 50 feet from the front door for last minute groceries and late night snacks.
The building has 24/7 reception and security, secure key fob access, parcel handling, CCTV, and on-site support team, and I’ve never felt unsafe getting back at night.
The rent is £356.02 a week, and you’d book/sign directly through UCL’s housing portal rather than subletting through me (though it is not required that you attend UCL—their short term summer bookings are open to all students/interns/professionals regardless of uni enrollment).
