My name's Dominic and I am a PGCE maths student. I've been living in this flat in Kilburn for the past year and would love to continue doing so, but I need a new flatmate! Ideally, we'd like someone who can move in as soon as possible. Rent for the room is £865/month excluding bills. Below gives a rough indication of extra costs (subject to change with price caps etc):
- Electricity - £20/month pp
- Wifi - £10/month pp
- Gas - pay as you go, so typically around £15/month pp during winter
- Water - billed twice a year at around £90 pp
The flat itself is located off the Kilburn High Road, so it's very quiet, but also close to many shops, pubs, restaurants etc. We're also ideally located for travel around London. Kilburn Underground (Jubilee) is about a 10-minute walk away and Brondesbury Overground (Mildmay) is even closer. We also are about a 15-minute walk from Queen's Park Station for the Bakerloo line and Kilburn High Road Station for the Lioness (direct to Euston/UCL!) Plus, we have loads of bus routes nearby, including the 98 which stops just by our road that will take you direct to Oxford Street and Soho (it also runs all night). Personally, I cycle to Bloomsbury campus, which takes me around half an hour.
The room itself has a double bed, a desk, a wardrobe and shelving units. We have a lovely shared kitchen and living room area, complete with all the amenities (including a rather large dishwasher which is a life saver!) For the summer months, we have a nice patio garden where we've hosted BBQs in the past.
