The welfare officer works with the Network to help signpost students to support resources and help the Women's Officer identify areas where UCL fails to meet the needs of women students. In particular, they will:
- Clearly identify where students can receive help
- Host a welfare event at least once per term.
- Receive welfare training to help them fulfil their responsibilities
