Abbie Payton

Shwmae! My name is Abbie, I am a 22 year old, first year Psychology and Education student from Cardiff! Outside of Uni I love playing tennis, fitness, theatre and music. I have loved exploring what the Welsh society has on offer this year and I would love to be able to be a part of a society that can provide a home away from home. I have some fun ideas for some events and social next year such as:

- Dress as a famous Welsh person pub social

- Themed Pub quizzes 

- Bingo 

- Welsh themed Pub crawl scavenger hunt with clues and prizes 

- Hiking/day trips 

- Board game night 

- Pub golf 

- Inter-society collabs

- Dress as your degree social 

- Cheese and Wine night 

- Bake off competition 

and more! 
 

Sometimes London can feel different compared to Wales and I know meeting other Welsh people has brought me a lot of comfort this year. I would love to be able to work with the Welsh society to help organise some activities to bring a bit of Cymru to London.
