Skydiving Club: President

Hi!

I'm Haoyu, and I'm excited to run for the presidency of the UCL Skydiving Club. As a passionate skydiver and an active participant in adventure sports, I aim to elevate our club's activities and foster a strong sense of community among our members. 

Here’s my plan to enhance our club's offerings and ensure a thrilling yet safe environment for all:

• Increased Jump Opportunities: I will negotiate with skydiving centers to secure better rates and more frequent jump schedules, ensuring that both novice and experienced skydivers have ample opportunities to skydive throughout the year.
• Beginner-Friendly Programs: To encourage new members, I will introduce comprehensive beginner programs that include tandem jumps and AFF (Accelerated Free Fall) courses, providing a safe and supportive way for newcomers to get into skydiving.
• Community Building: I plan to host regular social events, such as meet-ups and video viewing parties of our skydives, to build stronger bonds within our community and share experiences and tips.
• Visibility and Outreach: To increase our club's visibility, I will enhance our promotional efforts through social media campaigns and collaborations with other UCL clubs and societies, spreading the word about our thrilling activities.
