Ruby Maguire

Hi everyone! My name is Ruby and I’m currently a 2nd year Psychology and Education student, and I would love to act as your treasurer next year :)

I have a huge passion for psychology and education and I am enthusiastic about promoting learning and growth in both fields.

As treasurer I promise to maintain a high standard of financial management for the society. I want to add more transparency and accuracy within our financial records so you can also have a say in how we spend our budget, by getting your input on what talks and workshops you would like us to organise. I will ensure that our finances are managed efficiently so that our members are provided with the maximum opportunities for the smallest price possible.

I am a devoted and ambitious person so I will try my best to secure additional funding or sponsorships to support society activities and events so we can have more as a society. I am a trustworthy and cooperative person so you can rely on me to be open and discussive with you to do what’s best for PES. I’m especially excited to be a part of organising the next IOE Ball and create another amazing event next year!
