Election post

Status
Elected

Having written for the Bentham Digest previously, I really love the platform Philosophy Society offers to read and share our thoughts. If I’m elected as Editor-in-chief, I plan to help produce the best Bentham Digest possible and head more creative and inclusive new issues.

I want to lead engaging discourse and delve deeper into the themes that interest you readers and contributors, to continue bringing the most thought-provoking articles to the magazine. For example, my passion for philosophy developed when I was curious about the overlap between technology and the human experience, and it grew from there. A greater variety of topics would allow more people to learn about the links and intersection between philosophy and their current interests.

We have so many talented writers and great thinkers at UCL who deserve the opportunity to discuss and submit their views, so I plan to build a stronger internet presence so the magazine and society may reach out to as many of these individuals as possible. The perspective of a student in 2024 is especially unique and valuable, and as Editor-in-chief I relish the chance to introduce new and exciting dialogues to your magazine.
