Anaya Fatania

I joined netball as a fresher and despite not being a medic, I have found such a strong sense of community within the club and I am so grateful for the opportunity I have had to make so many friendships. In my calendar, Wednesday nights are always reserved for sports night. I love speaking to so many of you as well as playing the games, even if I am a bit slow at a few of them - but I promise you practice will make perfect...eventually! In first year, I was lucky enough to go on international tour which was absolutely brilliant and something I will definitely hold as a highlight of my university career.

My enjoyment of being part of the club has led to be want to run for social sec next year. I would love to be able to share my experience with freshers and new members next year, as well as being able to continue this for existing members! I have some amazing new ideas for the club and cannot wait to get started!
