Hi! I'm Angeline and I'm your current publicity manager :D

I've really enjoyed organising and attending the events hosted by the society, and more importantly getting to know everyone else who has had a cultural identity crisis! Next year, I want to take a more active role and hope to create the same welcoming environment as your president! 

I have moved around and lived in three countries - China, Singapore and the UK - and loved the diverse cultural experiences I’ve been exposed to; I also know how hard it is to find people who share similar cultural backgrounds, which is why I think it is important to have this society as a space for connecting people. As your president, I would want to prioritise organising more socials and events to help build a community. 

If elected, I want to:

• Host weekly / biweekly small scale socials to help meet new people (or networking for tryhards)
• More collaborative events with other societies 
• Ensure that everyone is well supported in their identity exploration journey!
