Rai Bhattacharjee

Hi everyone, I’m Rai, and I am excited to be running for Head of Marketing. As a candidate for this role, my vision is to further enhance the success of promoting events such as Dhamaal and Jashn on social media platforms through creating engaging promotional material. Marketing plays a crucial part in the success of the Indian society and its influence at UCL, and I am committed to bringing my skills forward to this role.

At sixth form, I was Head of Logistics for Cambridge MUN, which involved promoting social events for the conference. Having learnt how to use graphic design tools such as Canva and communicate information effectively, I have developed a flair for creative design and understand the importance of strong marketing to achieve success. These skills are highly useful for creating promotional material. Moreover, I was involved in negotiating with potential sponsors to manage the finances of the conference, which has equipped me with the necessary skills to work alongside the sponsorship team to build an updated sponsorship package as Head of Marketing.

With my skills of creativity, organization, and communication, I am confident in my ability as Head of Marketing to maintain an active social media presence of the Indian society, promoting greater awareness of what this amazing society has to offer.

Hemma Dardi

Hi everyone! I’m Hemma, and I’m thrilled to run for Head of Marketing for our Indian Society. My love for Indian culture has driven me to share it far and wide and this role would let me do just that on a bigger scale. With my skills in TikTok and Instagram, I can guarantee our events, especially ones as amazing as JASHN, get the spotlight they deserve. Imagine our society’s vibrant culture showcased across social media, attracting more people and making our events even more successful. I’ve absolutely enjoyed being a first-year rep and now I’m ready to take a committee role and take our marketing to the next level. I am organised, creative and dedicated. Vote for me, let’s make our society the most lively and talked-about on campus!
