I have been to a couple symposiums regarding dementia research and one thing that stood out to me is that research is moving in a more "patients experience" direction. I would like to reach out to different charities to raise awareness about how dementia affects patients but also their families and how generating a greater understanding of day to day struggles involved with dementia can help aid future work.
