Election post
I have taken up cycling about the time I started studying in London. Just like every beginner cyclist, there was a stage when I struggle to balance on a road bike, fail to stay upright with less than two hands on the handlebars and even crashing into a bush on the way to St Albans. But UCLCC have been very useful for me as a community where I learned and developed dramatically in a warm and welcoming enviroment.
Fast foward 1 year, I have completed my first trialthon, stopped crashing every ride, and even taken on clipless pedals! With the experience I have gained for the past year, alongside my passion in cycling, I beleived that it is time for me to take on a committe role ans help inspire a new generation of cyclist for UCL. Organising rides both in and out of London is my strength, and I have always enjoyed riding in a big group. Most importantly London is purple and no one is going to tell me otherwise!
