Muay Thai Club Constitution Amendment

Summary of proposed changes

• Highlighted the President’s responsibility in creating and implementing new initiatives for the club (see 3.1.1.2)
• Added an additional committee member Vice President to help with club development and participation in Team UCL campaigns, which is something the club has not been able to do in recent years (see 3.4.1)
• Specified that the training secretary acts as the 'club captain' in order to clarify their position (see 3.4.2.1)
• Specified that there can be more than one Gear Secretary if the committee feel it is needed in order to ensure a smoother process of maintaining and transporting equipment (see 3.4.5.1)
• Also separated the responsibilities of the Gear Secretary into different lines to make it easier to read and understand (see 3.4.5.2-4)
• Included hosting an inter-club competition as a core activity as it is something that has happened 9 times already in club history so it is now expected and gives our members a greater chance of competing (see 4.3.3)
• Included arranging volunteering opportunities for members to engage in the wider opportunity as an ‘other activity’ for the club. (see 4.4.3)
