School Lead is an important role within the Sexpression committee. School Leads are responsible for emailing and corresponding with local secondary schools to arrange volunteer teaching sessions, so that volunteers can go in and deliver sex education lectures. Schools Leads are also responsible for ensuring there are enough volunteers attending each session, and conveying the sessions' relevant details to the Child Protection Officer.

I believe that there is a huge lack of sex education in secondary schools and as school lead I would have the opportunity to reach out to more schools and help educate others on the importance of this topic. Coming from a school with little sex education I believe I can help in making a difference to the education of others and tackle the stigma surround sexual health.
