The School of Pharmacy society was unfortunately unable to hold any events in the earlier half of the academic year. Therefore, I am standing to organize and hold as many events possible in the remaining time left of the year. I will try my best to work with the other committee members to hold popular events such as, the SoP Boat party, Bar nights as well as, design and sell the SoP hoodie. 

I hope to be able to speak back to you guys soon with exciting news about society events!

Our pharmacy school deserves a better student society. Committee members have been in power for years, but what we received is a dead society with few meaningful events and minimum effort in improving student welfare and representing the pharmacy profession. And yet again they are running for re-election!

I am running for the position of president to be the advocate of change and to provide an alternative choice,

• Stand up to the department -- We sometimes too often appreciate our academic and admin staff, but we are all human after all, and we make mistakes. Online polls will be used to establish student opinions on policies including assessments and teachings, with letters sent to the head of the department to reflect the constructive criticisms.
• Socials reimagined -- monthly events will be organised with alcohol-free and halal-friendly options regularly. And you will be invited to design the options.
• Increasing outreach -- aim to increase active member number by 50% and regular Instagram updates will be reinstated.
• Redesigned SOP hoodie -- Who wants to wear hoodies designed by some pharmacy student turned amateur designer? We will be collaborating with high-street fashion brands and deliver you something you might actually wear.

Let's work together to get rid of the current invisible committee and make our student experience nicer. And I appreciate your support in this cause.
