I want our campaigns to start with students' concerns, not assumptions. I would work with the network to identify one shared priority through an anonymous survey and open discussion, then organise a focused campaign around it. Possible themes include everyday inclusion and clearer routes to support when discrimination occurs. Alongside events and student-led content, I would share progress updates so members can see what their contributions have changed.
I bring student representation, campaign communication and practical organising experience. As a UCL student representative, I raised wellbeing and assessment concerns. My work on UCL Students' Union's Xiaohongshu content helped grow the account by 1,000 followers in a month and increase engagement to 8.5 times its previous level. Through society marketing and event roles, I have also learnt to turn ideas into accessible messages and coordinate delivery.
Vote for me if you want someone who listens before choosing a campaign and follows through after the publicity ends. I will not assume that one person's experience represents every student of colour. I would create different ways to contribute, including private feedback, and work with members to turn shared concerns into clear requests. You should know what we are asking for, what progress we have made and what still needs work.
