My experience in leadership, event organisation, and student support has taught me how to listen, understand different perspectives, and work with people from diverse backgrounds. As a former hostel prefect, I learned to address concerns responsibly and represent others fairly. I will bring an approachable attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to ensuring that every postgraduate student feels heard and supported.
I hope to help make the faculty a better place to study by ensuring students feel heard, supported, and connected. I also want to encourage students to share ideas, access useful resources, and work together to improve the postgraduate experience for everyone.
We are officially just for one year. We can make it a life-changing phase.
Thanks, everyone.
Students should vote for me because:
- I understand the struggle: I am a student funding my education through a student loan, so I understand the financial pressures and challenges students face.
- I will listen: Everyone deserves to have their concerns, ideas, and opinions heard.
- I believe in helping others: I want to be a useful resource for students, sharing opportunities, information, and support wherever possible.
- I value different perspectives: I want to make sure students from different backgrounds feel represented.
I would bring empathy, confidence and a genuine willingness to listen. I’m approachable and kind, but also assertive and persuasive when something matters. I’m not afraid to ask difficult questions, challenge things that could be improved, or speak up for people who may not feel comfortable doing so themselves. During my undergraduate degree, I developed strong communication and analytical skills, but most importantly, I care about making people feel heard, represented and supported, and overall producing results.
If selected, I hope to create a genuine, direct channel between students and faculty, where concerns aren't just heard but acted on. I hope to identify recurring issues, work with staff to find practical solutions, and keep students informed about progress and outcomes. I also hope to make it easier for students to raise concerns before they become bigger problems. Ultimately, I hope to help build a faculty culture where student feedback leads to visible, meaningful change.
You should vote for me because I won’t just listen to your concerns; I’ll do something with them. I want to create a direct channel between students and the faculty, making it easier to raise issues, find practical solutions and hold conversations that lead to real change. I’m approachable enough to hear you out, but assertive enough to speak up when it matters. If you have something to say, I’ll make sure it gets to the right table.
