I would bring strong communication, organisation and leadership skills, developed through my experience as President of the UCL APAC Law Society, where I represent student interests and coordinate initiatives and as House Captain, where I acted as a link between students and teachers. My legal internships have also given me insight into the challenges of studying and pursuing a career in law. I would use these experiences to listen to students’ concerns, communicate feedback constructively to faculty and help foster a supportive undergraduate community.
If elected, I hope to ensure that students feel their views are heard and their concerns are represented. I will open up communication channels through email and social media for students to express opinions and concerns and follow up diligently to support change in our Faculty. I would aim to follow up on feedback, communicate any resulting developments transparently, and help translate students’ suggestions into practical improvements. I believe effective representation requires both listening to the student body and working collaboratively with staff to make positive changes.
I am reliable, empathetic and diligent. I will follow up on all your concerns and ensure that change is enacted in our Faculty.
As Student Council President and a UNICEF summit advocate, I have worked on making visible differences by persistently representing student voice. I improved timetables, secured club funding and organised events by implementing feedback loops and bridging communication between students and leadership.
These taught me how to pitch ideas and follow-up on them till they are achieved. I have learnt whom to target at executive levels and how to break down change into actionable steps - crucial skills for when I take your feedback to the right channels.
Vote me for transparent and proactive change!
From listening to our cohort and noticing the challenges we face personally, I would action for;
- Improvements to timetabling (earlier releases, consideration for commuters, enough walking time);
- The release of an anonymous forum where students could post high-scoring essay answers for clearer post-exam understanding of how to improve;
- and more up-to date and comprehensive Reading Lists for our modules.
Furthermore, I will provide additional support to the Year Reps and their feedback initiatives. I am super outgoing and responsive, so I will look forward to hearing more ideas for change from you!
With my proven and proactive representation skills, I will make sure that our faculty is constantly heard and kept up-to date with how their ideas are progressing. As an international student and commuter I am aware of some of the struggles law students face, and will always be open to learning about other's concerns.
I know that sometimes it can be easy to identify challenges but difficult to come up with solutions - I will do my best to actively listen to you and help come up with feasible improvements by breaking down your issues and conveying them effectively for you.
I’ll bring proactive leadership, strong communication, and proven student advocacy. Founding a college Law Society and serving as a school Prefect taught me to organise initiatives and represent student voices effectively. As Football Captain at college and for LawSoc, I developed strong teamwork and active listening under pressure. Furthermore, as a University of Law Brand Ambassador, I honed clear communication to bridge the gap between students and faculty. I am approachable, driven, and committed to turning your feedback into real change.
As UG Laws Faculty Rep, I will drive three key achievements:
- Early Timetables: Secure advance schedule releases so you can balance study, work, and personal commitments seamlessly.
- Transparent Assessment: Establish consistent marking criteria and detailed, actionable feedback across all modules.
- Real Accountability: Host monthly open forums with visible progress trackers to ensure student concerns deliver concrete results.
Leveraging my leadership and advocacy experience, I will bridge the gap with staff to turn your voice into lasting impact.
Vote for me because I am a determined, approachable, and proactive advocate who turns your ideas into real action. With proven student leadership experience working across year groups and with faculty, I know how to bridge the gap between staff and students effectively. Whether pushing for earlier timetables, clearer marking criteria, or open feedback forums, I will ensure our concerns are never overlooked. I am committed to listening closely, communicating transparently, and delivering results so every UCL Laws student feels truly heard, supported, and valued.
I have always enjoyed getting involved and supporting other students. At school, I was a prefect and Vice President of Business and Economics, where I worked with both the student and staff bodies. At UCL, I have mentored state-schooled students applying to university and now help new students settle in as a Transition Mentor. As Interim President of the Detective Society, I have recruited committee members, secured funding and spoken to hundreds of students during the Welcome Week. I am approachable and genuinely interested in making sure that student concerns are addressed.
I want students to feel comfortable sharing what’s working and what isn’t, and to know their feedback is being taken seriously. I’ll make a consistent effort to hear from students across the Faculty and bring their views to staff. I’d also like to help close the communication gap between students and the Faculty, and advocate for changes that improve the experience of both current and future students.
I got involved in student representation almost as soon as I arrived at UCL, putting myself forward for the First Year Representative position within my first two weeks. I later ran for the Publications Officer post and received strong support. Since then, I’ve continued to take on roles that bring me closer to students’ experiences, from mentoring to leading the UCL Detective Society. I have persistently advocated for student interests and I would do the same in this role.
I want to make sure my peers know their opinions matter and can lead to real improvements.
Through debating and judging regional competitions, I've learned to communicate persuasively, consider different perspectives, and assess arguments fairly.
I have also mentored younger pupils at school and independently tutored students, helping them improve their grades and gain confidence. This has taught me to be patient and attentive to people's needs.
I'm approachable, proactive, and happy to speak up for others. I'll take your concerns seriously and make sure they're communicated to the faculty!
If elected, I'd like to make UCL Laws a place where everyone feels they belong. I'd push for weekly, informal wellbeing drop-ins, where students can talk about stress or anything they're struggling with.
I'd also explore anonymous ways to ask questions in lectures, so everyone feels comfortable to speak up.
Additionally, I'd love to organise a practical legal AI workshop, introducing students to tools like Harvey AI and helping us develop skills relevant to future legal careers.
Most importantly, I'll be easily reachable, actively gather your feedback, and keep you updated on progress!
Through my experiences in roles requiring communication skills, and a record of working with students, I've learned how to bring different perspectives together, and turn ideas into practical solutions.
I want to bring that experience to representing you at UCL Laws! I'm always eager to hear your suggestions and concerns, and I'll work to turn them into meaningful changes. Your ideas deserve to be taken seriously, and I'll make sure they are!
I will bring strong communication, organisation and advocacy skills, developed through my LLB, mooting, legal experience and student society roles. As a tutor, I have learned to listen carefully and adapt my communication to different people, while my roles in UCL societies have taught me the importance of representing students and working collaboratively. I am approachable, proactive and committed to making sure UG Law students’ concerns are heard and acted upon.
If elected, I want to make the LLB experience more connected, transparent and responsive. I would prioritise clear communication around assessments, module choices and academic opportunities; create accessible ways for students to raise concerns; and ensure feedback is communicated to staff and, importantly, back to students. I would focus on better communication about assessment and feedback more information about mini-pupillages, internships, vacation schemes and careers
Vote for me because I have experience both studying Law and representing others. Through mooting, legal work, tutoring and my UCL society roles, I have developed the confidence to advocate, the patience to listen and the organisation to follow things through. I will be an approachable representative who takes your concerns seriously, communicates honestly and works constructively with staff to turn student feedback into meaningful action.
A large part of my high school experience included solving community problems. In grade 11, I independently planned and ran a large-scale school cafeteria survey which improved the quality and hygiene of the food. I learnt to accurately and convincingly represent students' struggles in a manner such that they could be effectively resolved. Thereafter, I spearheaded the largest student-led fest in the city, which involved spending hours with teachers and vendors. Negotiating for approvals taught me to bridge problems and optimal solutions, a skill that is invaluable to this role.
I will start by listening. I have experience in approaching strangers and understanding their hesitations through door-to-door campaigning I did for blood donation camps, and this will help me get honest feedback from students for the Faculty. My past internships in varied fields like customer calling, marketing and law will aid me in effectively and professionally communicating students’ priorities to staff. Most importantly, to increase students' willingness to speak up about their concerns, I will highlight every decision made because of their feedback through regular monthly updates.
As a fresher, I'm not restricted by habits of “that’s how it’s always done”, so I’ll question everything that needs changing. These first months, I’m meeting more people than ever and learning their needs and perspectives. As the Community Service Prefect at my school, I learned that helping others is what motivates me so I will always go the extra mile to get your problem heard and resolved. I completed a Bachelor’s-level music qualification alongside the IBDP, so I can manage the 15-20 hours time commitment. I’ll ask you, take it to the people who decide, and tell you what happened.
