Vote Lincoln, the Better Bartlett School in the UCL200
I’m a very approachable, friendly (and funny!) person, and I want students to feel comfortable coming to me with any concerns or ideas. As a Faculty Rep, I’ve helped organise the first Bartlett PhD Conference, established an online induction event for new students, raised student concerns with the faculty, and improved awareness of existing support. I’m proactive, collaborative and confident communicating with senior leadership. I’d focus on listening to students, turning their feedback into meaningful action, and keeping everyone informed about progress.
I’d love to organise a second edition of the Bartlett PhD Conference, creating more opportunities for PhD students to share their work and connect across departments. Even if I’m not elected, I’ll give everything I can to help make it an even better event! I’d also like to promote the Changemakers programme, improve awareness of support for students with invisible disabilities, and make better use of social media to showcase student research and give students a platform to share their work. Above all, I want to keep building a stronger, more connected and inclusive PhD community.
I have experience communicating directly with senior leadership, presenting student feedback and making clear recommendations. Having helped organise the first Bartlett PhD Conference and established an online induction event for new students, I have a track record of taking initiative. I’m approachable, proactive and committed to turning feedback into meaningful action that improves the PGT student experience. Vote for me for a representative who listens, takes action and works with you to make a difference!
