If elected, I will work to build a friendly, inclusive and respectful hall community. I hope to organise engaging social events, encourage cross-cultural connections, and ensure all voices are heard. With my teaching background and leadership experience, I aim to support both residents’ wellbeing and academic focus, making our hall a safe and enjoyable place to live.
I bring strong experience in teaching, leadership and community support. Having already completed a master’s degree and now pursuing my second in Education and Technology at UCL, I have developed excellent communication and organisational skills. My international background allows me to understand and respect diverse perspectives, while my maturity helps me act responsibly in challenging situations. I am approachable, reliable, and committed to creating an inclusive and supportive hall community where every resident feels respected and valued.
You should vote for me because I have both the experience and the dedication to make our hall a welcoming and supportive community. With a strong background in teaching, proven leadership skills, and the perspective of an international postgraduate with diverse life experience, I understand how to listen, represent, and act on residents’ needs. I will work hard to ensure your voices are heard, organise activities that bring people together, and promote a respectful environment where everyone feels at home.
If elected, I hope to create a more inclusive and connected hall community, where international students can easily access information and feel part of campus life. I want to organise activities that everyone—no matter their background—can join without barriers, reducing communication gaps and encouraging cultural exchange. At the same time, I look forward to gaining more experience in hosting events in an international setting and integrating further into life in the UK.
I have strong experience in event organisation and leadership, from running academic and sports events to volunteering in international exchanges in Hong Kong, Japan, and the UK. These roles built my communication, cross-cultural and problem-solving skills. I am outgoing, empathetic and collaborative, with practical abilities in event planning, design and promotion. As bilingual in Chinese and English, I can also help connect Chinese students with the wider hall community.
Students should vote for me because I am passionate about building a vibrant, inclusive community and have the skills and experience to make it happen. I am approachable, enthusiastic, and eager to connect with people from different cultures. With my strong background in event organisation and willingness to try new ideas, I will bring energy and creativity to our hall.
