What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

As a Chevening Scholar at UCL and former Clinical Demonstrator in Cardiac Perfusion, I bring leadership, communication, and advocacy experience shaped by years in healthcare and academic settings. I’ve represented professionals at national forums, led student initiatives, and built collaborative teams. I value inclusivity, evidence-based improvement, and empathy; qualities that will help me ensure every student in the Faculty of Population Health Sciences feels heard, supported, and empowered.

What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?

If elected, I aim to strengthen communication between students and faculty by creating an open, inclusive platform where all voices are valued. I hope to enhance student wellbeing, academic support, and representation across departments within the Faculty of Population Health Sciences. My goal is to foster collaboration through regular feedback forums, mentorship initiatives, and interdisciplinary engagement, ensuring every student feels connected, supported, and empowered to thrive within UCL’s diverse academic community.

Please summarise why students should vote for you.

As an international student of color at UCL,  I know what it feels like to navigate a new academic culture while striving to belong. I aim to represent every voice, especially those that often go unheard. I believe in inclusion, empathy, and action. Students should vote for me because I’ll listen, advocate, and turn feedback into real change. I want every student in our faculty to feel seen, supported, and proud to belong at UCL, no matter where they come from. Together, we can create a community where every student feels valued and empowered.
