What will you bring to this role (e.g. experience, skills or qualities)?

As a first-generation student, I understand the challenges of accessing education. My experience as a student union leader has equipped me with essential advocacy and collaboration skills. I have worked with underprivileged first-gen students to help them secure admission to higher education abroad and top universities in India. If elected, I will build a strong community at UCL by promoting volunteer initiatives that tackle critical social issues, focusing on sustainability, and strengthening partnerships with external organizations. Together, we can empower every student to make a impact.

What do you hope to achieve in the role if you are elected?
  • Create paid volunteering opportunities by partnering with NGOs and government agencies, enabling students to make a difference while earning and building career skills.
  • Launch animal welfare initiatives to promote awareness and protect animals through volunteering.
  • Introduce sustainability projects like "Green Guardians" to engage students in environmental efforts.
  • Support vulnerable communities with programs like "Mental Health Heroes" and "Tech Tutors."

Together, we can drive impactful change and strengthen our university community.

Please summarise why students should vote for you.

Vote for me to enhance UCL's community engagement for all students, regardless of their background.. I am dedicated to amplifying every student's voice and fostering a vibrant volunteering culture that is both impactful and rewarding. Together, we can create meaningful change, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to contribute and connect within our community. I believe that volunteering should not only benefit the community but also provide students with valuable skills and experiences that can enhance their career prospects.
